Finally time to write. Winters been gone for months but there's another on it's way. Chances are anyway. I like the updates they did compared to my old ones. They put a extra piece of material at the heel location. I'm 5'10" so i know eventually I'll wear through that piece. 5'9" u may have trouble not walking on them. Carhartt would do well to make some bibs with shorter legs. Were not all 6'+. There's also elastic on the side panels at the buttons. Little tougher to get to your pants pockets but doable. Personally I stayed warm but we didn't have sub zero towards the end of the season. I did spray then down with silicone after the second time out clearing snow because the snow stuck to the legs like powder.
